VideoVision launches new website

Through months of planning and re-design to make it faster and more user-friendly, VideoVision recently launched its new website.

Designed by Jim McElroy and Daniel Thomas, the new site features over 30 video samples of VideoVision productions and recordings, all encoded in Adobe Flash Video, a NEWS page which will contain industry and VideoVision news/blogs, and a client log in page for current projects.

The site will be updated with new video on a regular basis, and soon feature full length productions streaming directly from the server. We hope to stream around 20 full length productions of between 4 and 8 minutes, and 100 short samples by the end of 2008. It will make VideoVision the only production company in Australia to feature so many videos on one site.

This is been a long time in the making, and we hope you enjoy visiting the site and keeping up to date with what is happening locally and abroad. Please feel free to make any comments by emailing us via our contact page.

Professional Video Production

VideoVision has a reputation as an industry leader in corporate video and multimedia production. Our camera crews, editors and producers are regarded as amongst the best in the country and our experience in the television industry has been achieved by a dedication to service, quality and creativity.

We specialise in Corporate, Training and Marketing Videos, Single Camera and Multi-Camera Location Production, Event Recording, and our objective is to create compelling content for TV, DVD and Internet Video. VideoVision aims to be innovative and flexible enough to handle changing markets and technologies, giving clients the best possible product and service they have come to expect from a professional visual communications company.

High Definition is making a huge impact on the end product for all of our productions with a clearer and sharper image, and we have been using this technology for location recording for the past couple of years. The market is still coming to terms with the consumer HD format (Blu-Ray Vs. HD-DVD), but the demand for it in Australia has only just started.

VideoVision also offers On-Site production. We can edit on-site with our clients giving them the opportunity to be involved in the project.

Video Monitoring

VideoVision specialises in construction high resolution digital image monitoring. We provide a time-lapse progress record of major projects and an online reference resource for all the stakeholders.

The high resolution images are being used for time-lapse DVD’s, marketing, high definition media releases, technical reports and historical archives. This is the most complete site monitoring and project documentation available.

Multiplex have been using VideoVision digital systems for over 6 years. Past projects in Melbourne include 209 Kingsway, Urban Workshop and the Landmark Southern Cross project. Each of these projects were digitally captured by a VideoVision digital site camera system from excavation right through to hand over of the completed building.

A current Multiplex Constructions project, the new Melbourne Convention Centre due to be completed in 2009, is using a VideoVision computerised camera system programmed to capture time stamped high resolution images every 30 minutes.

Other sites also include the ANZ headquarters Docklands and the new Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne for Bovis Lend Lease.

ICC 2007-2012 Corporate Plan Staff Video

I cannot thank Video Vision Communications enough for the support they provided me during this project. I had no previous experience in scripting, filming or sound production. Daniel's friendly personality and kind nature allowed me to ask questions and to continually make changes to the planned taping schedule. Daniel not only taped the areas of Council I requested but also provided valuable feedback and suggestions which in turn made the video the success it is today.

I thoroughly recommend to any prospective business or company to work with VideoVision Communications - you will be guaranteed a personalised service as well as a collaborative environment to produce your video message.
